Accessibility impaired: The Metzingen-based protective packaging manufacturer fell victim to a cyberattack
Metzingen, March 2023. The Metzingen-based protective packaging specialist Storopack recorded a criminal attack on its IT systems on Tuesday, March 21, 2023. The company is therefore currently not reachable by e-mail and only to a limited extent by telephone. In accordance with its IT emergency protocol, Storopack took the necessary security measures immediately after becoming aware of the cyber attack and informed the police and other responsible authorities. Delivery delays may currently occur, Storopack is working at full speed to continue to ensure delivery capability. The company's website is not affected by the cyber attack: At www.storopack.com, customers and partners can find telephone numbers through which they can currently reach the company's locations. There, Storopack also provides information on the current status at all times. "We are working intensively to fully restore all systems. I would like to thank our employees, who are working with great commitment to achieve this.
